Gloves are the worst-itemized piece of Tier Gear available to Brewmaster Monks, and Lords of Dread drop a higher item level pair of gloves ( Grasps of Abducted Fate) in Sepulcher of the First Ones, as well. Wearing your 4-piece bonus is worth giving up any amount of item level, but assuming all your gear is the same item level, Brewmaster Monks prefer to equip Helm, Shoulders, Chest, and Legs. Any combination of four of the five available pieces can be used to complete your 4-set bonus. Raiding, Mythic+ dungeons, and competitive PvP can all reward tier set pieces through the Great Vault.
